Caring For Your Crystals & Jewellery

Perfume, make-up, perspiration, etc, may build up over time, creating an invisible layer that dulls the finish.  An occasional polish with a soft cloth will remove residues and maintain an original sparkle and shine..

All silver, but particularly .925 Sterling silver, may tarnish (dull or blacken) with use and/or exposure.  Simply rub gently with a Silver polishing cloth (available for a few dollars from most supermarkets0 to restore Silver items to original condition. Avoid liquid or paste polishing agents as these may damage your item.

Avoid immersion in liquids i.e. don’t swim or shower whilst wearing your Jewellery, and avoid spraying with liquids i.e. perfumes or insect repellents.   Ideally apply such sprays before putting on your Jewellery.

Avoid storing Silver Jewellery in or with unsealed wood – especially teak and pine – can reportedly accelerate tarnishing of Silver items.
